One of Erica's passions in life is running. People sometimes think that she must be insane to wake up between 4 and 4:30 most mornings of the week so that she can get her miles in before school, but there is no other way Erica would like to spend her mornings. She has run 11 marathons. Some of her achievements include: 3rd place female-Knoxville Marathon 2006, 4th place female-Mercedes Marathon 2009, 1st place female-Rochester Marathon 2009, 4th place female-Dallas Marathon 2009, 2nd place female-Knoxville Marathon 2010, in the top 100 females, and 633rd person (among over 36,000 finishers)-Chicago Marathon 2010.
